Chapter 8 - Method 1 - Installing NewIcons with ClassAct
In this chapter we will Install NewIcons using ClassAct and the NewIcons
V4.6 installer program.
Install ClassAct:-
Right lets begin...If you have quit WinUAE after the last chapter, then
re-launch the program, left click the config you made, click the Load button and
click OK to start emulation.
1. After bootup double click Programs, double click on ClassAct
directory, then double click Install_Classes.
2. Select Intermediate User and then click on Proceed With Install
3. Make sure Install for Real and None are selected and then Click ‘Proceed’.
4. Click ‘Proceed’. (It should show SYS:Classes as selected drawer).
5. Click on Yes.
6. Click ‘Proceed’.
7. Click ‘Proceed’.
8. Click ‘Proceed’ to end Install.
9. Now restart the Amiga by holding down the 3 keys to finish setup. CTRL
+ INSERT + HOME, or in newer versions of WinUAE press CTRL + LEFT WINDOW + RIGHT
WINDOW keys.
