Workbench 2.05 Guide - Introduction & Requirements

Introduction:

In this guide I will show you how to set up a Hard Disk with Workbench 2.05 installed on the System2.0: partition using a Hard Disk File (aka HDF) and a windows directory for the Work: partition.

This is what you will require to follow Paul's guide!

• A copy of WinUAE from Emulators Downloads
   
• The Workbench 2.0x set in ADF format. - You can either transfer and convert them from the disk originally supplied with your Amiga or you can buy them from http://www.cloanto.com/amiga/forever/ If you legally own the set of Workbench 2.0 disks then you could search Google for them.
  
  In this guide I will be using the following disks:
   
  • Workbench 2.05 (37.71) Install (A600HD) (Commodore) (1992)
  • Workbench 2.05 (37.71) Boot (Commodore) (1992) (International)
  • Workbench 2.05 (37.71) Fonts (Commodore) (1992) (International)

  • Workbench 2.05 (37.71) Extras (Commodore) (1992) (International)

• A 2.x Kick-Start ROM Image. - You can either use the ROM from your Amiga 500Plus/600 (if you have one) or buy it from http://www.cloanto.com/amiga/forever/
